For change of container, machine to stop, change container and restart the equipment. Hence known it Batch Type. Generally used where frequent start-n-stop is required.
Application requires two stage Milling – 1st stage in Hammer Crusher for Coarse milling and 2nd stage in Micro Pulveriser for Fine milling. Useful where different variety of products to be pulverized. Fineness attainable up to 90-95% particles passing through 60 Mesh BSS.
1. Material Feeding: Raw herbs are loaded into the feed hopper.
2. Pre-Processing: Materials may be dried and cleaned to remove impurities.
3. Grinding: The herbs are ground using a suitable mill (e.g., Hammer Mill, Pin Mill, Ball Mill) to achieve the desired particle size.
4. Classification: An air classifier or sieving system separates fine particles from coarse ones.
5. Collection: Ground herbs are collected in a cyclone separator and dust collector to ensure purity.
6. Discharge: The processed herbal powder is discharged into a product bin or bag for packaging.
7. Quality Control: Particle size and purity are checked to ensure adherence to specifications.
8. Cleaning: The system is cleaned, often with CIP (Clean-In-Place), to maintain hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
